And here’s Eagle greeting her little brother:

This, by the way, is why I prefer holding the camera and usually try to keep it away from anyone else, perhaps especially my wife. Yes, that’s me:

Beautiful baby, Wickle and a beautiful little Eagle. She almost looks as if she is afraid to touch him. Congratulations on the new addition to your family.

  4. sensico Says:

    aw, too cute, congratulations!

  5. onemom Says:

Wonderful pictures! I don’t know if there is anything more awe-inspiring than holding a wee-baby.

(on another note … doesn’t your computer photo editing program have a rotate feature? Much easier than rotating my computer!) :)

  6. wickle Says:

    Thank you all!

Sorry, OneMom … I had rotated them in a preview, and thought I’d really rotated them in the files. I’ll fix it.

Wickle, that is awesome. So sweet. So peaceful. So angelic.

And to think, who knew you could sit that long with your mouth shut.

(Seriously, much love and many prayers to you and your beloved family. Peace, brother).

See, you do know what sleep is. It’s just in a chair in the middle of the day instead of in a bed in the middle of the night!

Hope you get straightened out soon. Thanks for posting the pics. Blessings!

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! beautiful babies, wickle! :D eagle looks a bit overwhelmed, but i’m sure she’ll figure out the big sister gig very quickly. how much did zidgel weigh? he looks like a hefty little guy.

  10. wickle Says:

He was a bit hefty, actually. 8#, 1.4 ozs., 20″

She has held him a number of times since then (always seated. of course). She is convinced that we should hand him to her the way we do between each other. So far, that hasn’t led to too much trouble.
