This weekend brings to us the Maine caucuses, which are considered non-binding and don’t, strictly, assign the delegates. For those who are interested, this is considered a “modified closed” caucus. Only registered Republicans can participate, but new voters and independents can register as Republicans on site as little as half an hour before the caucus. Those who have declared for other parties had to have changed at least 15 days ago.
Tonight, I will be speaking on behalf of Mike Huckabee at one of the caucus gatherings … in Hallowell, ME (Kennebec County). It should be fun. I’ll post my speech after I’ve … well, frankly … after I’ve finished writing it.

Mike couldn’t have a finer representative speaking for him in Maine today! I can’t wait to read your speech.

TRM, you joke like my brother.
Wickle, instead of the traditional “go break a leg,” I’m going to tell you NOT to mangle any words or dangle any modifiers. :)

Go to it, Wickle. Make us all proud.

Thanks for the reminder about Maine. I had almost forgotten it in the hubbub about Super Tuesday. Go Huckabee! Thanks for speaking on his behalf.

@OneMom – written like someone who’s never heard me speak in public!
@TRM – I kept it positive. That was the plan. I only had two minutes, and certainly didn’t want to waste that time being negative … (maybe we should have told the other people that, though!)
@All 5 of you – Thank you very much for the well-wishes. I do appreciate it.
I think it went pretty well.
