On dropping out …

It occurs to me that the many critics of Mike Huckabee have been telling him to drop out since last summer. He didn’t have the money, the name recognition, the … whatever.

Now, those same people are … well, … still saying the same thing.

I can see the point that some people are trying to make, that NOW it’s really time to get behind one conservative candidate. The problems are:

  • They expect me to get behind a candidate who has shown utter contempt for me and my intetrests
  • They’ve been playing the “get behind a candidate” game for so long, I simply don’t believe them

These same all-knowing people had declared John McCain out of the race last year. They declared Rudy Giuliani the early front-runner. They said that the whole GOP was breathlessly waiting for Fred Thompson to enter the race. Forgive me if I don’t put total trust in their wisdom.

Nor do I trust that now they’re right. They’re trying to bully Gov. Huckabee out of the field because he isn’t the big-money, highly-connected candidate that they like. He actually believes what he says, and says what he believes.

And that is why I do — and will — support him.

Mike must drop out, or people must not vote for him.

The republican conservitives are being torn apart because of Mike.

If Mike stays in he is only doing it to help McCain.

did Fred Thompson EVER enter the race?

Oh, and I agree with Miranda … it is just as true that Mitt is dividing the conservatives. People still think it’s about the money, but Mitt’s money really hasn’t brought him a good return. Check the new FEC reports.

A man of principles like Mike Huckabee, should never drop out or back down! It is His Godly values and principles that have carried him thus far!

God promises us in I Sam. 2:30 that those who honor God will be honored, and those who lightly esteem God, will be lightly esteemed.

Mike Huckabee is honoring God with his life. Therefore, when all of this is said and done, God WILL honor Mike Huckabee.

God’s Word is the measuring stick for this election ….. Not the media, and not the polls.
