If you’ve listened to Sean Hannity lately, then you’ve surely heard him refer to his show as the “Stop Hillary Express.” Besides being obnoxious, Hannity is making a very, very important mistake.
He’s presenting to the world that no one is more important than Hillary Clinton. He’s reinforcing her position in the Democratic primary, and in the electorate. By being so obsessive, he’s actually helping her. Not only is he helping her in the primary (which, frankly, she probably always had wrapped up), he’s fueling her in general.
More than that, he’s helping her make her case later that she’s being picked on, if she decides to reprise the “vast right-wing conspiracy” complaint.
Republicans in talk radio refer to Democrats and liberals who have an irrational hatred of George Bush. Hannity displays the same kind of hatred of Hillary Clinton. By giving in to it, he is actually hurting his own cause.
Before the 2006 elections, Sean Hannity promised that he would keep up his attacks so that we never had to say “Speaker Nancy Pelosi.” You can tell how well that worked out.

How can Hannity’s 3 hour a day/ 5 days a week radio show be anyting except an illegal in-kind political contribution. An anti-smoking group was fined for “influencing a federal election” for pointing out Jesse Helms’ support for the tobacco industry!
