A commercial was just on the radio for the Library of Congress. It’s one that always bothers me.
“To learn more about the wonders of reading, you can go to the Library of Congress web site at loc.gov.”
… or, you could open a book. Just a thought.
This particular commercial plays clips from the movie “Narnia” and encourages you to go play games on the web site, all of which is somehow supposed to encourage reading. Really, just a thought … what about turning off the computer now and then and cracking a book.
Speaking of which, the baby is asleep and I’ve got this written, so I’m going to pick up my book for a little while.
